Andy re-hung and sanded/planed three internal doors for us. It has made a huge difference as they now open/close smoothly and don’t drag on the carpets. Andy was very straightforward in providing a quote, he was available quickly and was very efficient. He did a fantastic job and we’d be happy to recommend him and hire him for future jobs.

I work closely with a plumber, electrician and bricklayer so can take on most projects, small or large. I build all sorts from Garden rooms, small extensions, garage conversions. Amendments to fit new doors (sliding or bifold) sky light/ roof lanterns, external door repairs, locks, multi point locking mechanisms, upvc and aluminium doors windows, fascia, soffit and guttering. Kitchen/bathroom installs and alterations. Internal studwork, external structures, all types of fencing and gates, replacement garage doors, raised beds, pergolas. Replacement flat roofs, replace felt roofs for rubber roofing. Disability adaptions, handrails, shelves, storage solutions. Replace double glazed units broken or misted up, all window issues. Fitted cupboards, aged timber install, media walls, skirting, architrave and plasterboard install and plaster and drylining.

Excellent job. Turned up on time and worked hard. I thought he significantly undercharged for what he did as he had to quote on the phone without seeing it. It took at least 2 1/2 hours so I compensated him accordingly. Would certainly have him back.

It was also very competitive compared to other quotes we received. The work was completed even quicker than expected, thanks to Pawel, the highly organised team leader. He and his team worked incredibly hard, ensuring we were involved throughout the process to accommodate all our needs. Their attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. Paul came to initially hang a dozen or so doors, but ended up staying on at site for a month doing all the skirting, architrave and window boards - amongst other things. He also worked on all the ikea wardrobes integrating them into the walls and cutting them down to fit pitched roof sections. Paul turned up promptly every day he said he would including Saturday’s and never paused in his work during the day. Was a real asset to the team in completing a high end self build house project. A great job.

Based on my experience I have no hesitation recommending BCB Building Services who came recommended to me prior to this work by word of mouth. I needed to carry out modest renovation and remediation works on a newly purchased period property requiring many trades; general builder, scaffolder, plumber, plasterer, roofer, landscaper and damp specialist, etc. Brad and BCB team promptly provided a quote and, essential for me, agreed to source and project manage the diverse trades required to complete the work. They are busy but worth the patience and short wait necessary to get the work done by them. The workforce were professional, tidy, courteous and organised minimising disruption during the works and leaving the house clean and undamaged in their wake. The works were delivered per schedule and to a high standard and whilst not the cheapest, the pricing is fair and I believe the outcome represents tremendous value. Brad and the team remained pro-active beyond works completion and engaged actively in addressing the small amount of trivial snagging. They are now my go to for building works.
