seemed profesional and knowledgable. 3m worktop to be cut and fitted a cut out for hob over drawer unit and cut out for a sink. Arranged to meet at 9am, had a message to say hed be 15 minutes late, he was longer. Helped to get the worktop through the kitchen window, explained what i wanted doing and was happy to help move the worktop if needed. left him with sink and hob instructions and helped him move the work top in place when ready. All seemed good, he put a supporting piece of wood under the worktop at the far end, i did offer a smaller drill bit as the one he was using barely fit in the space, he said no, it was fine. After he left we realised the hob cut out did not line up with the unit, too far to the left, and the sink was supposed to be a rectangle to include tap holes, he only cut a square. He said hed rectify but this would leave a gap by hob. dont want him back as 6 holes drilled for supporting wood which was also split. Poor workmanship. I originally told the guy I couldn’t pay his daily rate of £210.. madness money and that I would pay him £500. If we could agree he could Start straight away. He basically said oh don’t worry about it we’ll talk about it we never did so I presumed £500 for the job because that’s all I had.. The guy was very slow then on the third day he informs me that he’s on daily rate.. I told him I don’t have it, so I have a half finish wardrobe.. when we went to put the shelving in because it’s not level turned into an absolute nightmare wider at the front, then they are at the back.. so I paid £550 for a face of a wardrobe with doors made out of MDF that are bowing.. shelving, that’s all over the gaff.. I wish I could put a photo on it so I could show you how basic this wardrobe is. Basically everybody that has seen It is gobsmacked that I paid that money for that job. being a woman that lives by herself, I like to pay the money and get a job done, not be taking advantage of.. don’t think I’ll be using this site againLatest review:Joinery & Cabinet Making-
