Steve undertook the conversion of a 50 x 20 foot stable block annexe on my Grade 2 listed former coach house to create an enlarged domestic dwelling. The old roof was removed back to below the wall plate, a new roof was cut to alignment and slate finished. Inside the walls were re-aligned, ceiling installed and insulated with with Celotex before dry-lining. Steve not only undertook this work but coordinated the other trades and liaised with Building Control and conservation to ensure full compliance throughout. Being in the construction industry I can safely say that Steve's work across an number of core trades is of a very high standard. Also he impressed the Building Control and Conservation Officer with his knowledge and compliance. The work was completed within budget, ahead of programme and to a high standard. Steve's strengths are founded on his all round knowledge of construction, both practical and theoretical, which when combined with his positive attitude is a great asset in this field. Possibly the closest I've seen to a "one stop shop" for domestic building.

He came out on time good. Gave a decent quote was agreed. Due to work can only do weekends and as to Easter agreed 7th and 14th which he'd txt me confirm. When not heard an anything on 6th April 2018 he was really unpleasant called me a liar and said I'd booked it in for 14 & 21 April. And I could duck off I was lying. I cleared time for him did not expect rudeness DO NOT BOOK THIS PERSON!!

It was a bit of a nightmare job in the end due to weather, power cuts and the removal of the original staircase, however this service was top notch and he did a fantastic job. I was totally satisfied with the work carried out by Gareth the owner and carpenter. His work standard was excellent, having discussed the job he offered sound advice with regards to the work to be done and how I could keep costs down. His workmanship is second to none and following on from the original job I contracted him to totally refurbish my bathroom He Tanked the room and re boarded the walls before fitting the bath, sink, toilet and shower Again another 1st rate job. Finally he rebuilt my garden wall that had been blown down by the storms. All the work was done in good time and it was good to see a tradesman who on accepting a job worked from day one through to completion. I would recommend Gareth to anyone who wished to hire his services. A Five Star company.
