We are delighted with the repointing work that Liam and his team recently carried out for us. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the job was completed within the expected time frame. Liam and is team were very sensitive to the impact on our nearby neighbours and worked extremely hard to keep the surrounding area clean and tidy as well as helping us with some tricky logistics due to the location of our house! The quality of repointing is excellent and Liam went over and above, removing some very stubborn stains from bricks affected by previous additions to the house and digging a trench to allow the back wall to breathe. We have asked Carter’s Restoration Services to come back and complete some more repointing on our front garden wall, having been so pleased with the work carried out on the house and would highly recommend them.

Kevin and his team picked up where an original builder had decided to leave our full house restoration. This is always difficult picking up work that someone else had stopped, Kevin had no issues with handling the balance of the work to be completed, Kevin and his team were always on time, happy and very willing. Kevin stuck to all the building regulations guidelines, dealt with building control and carried out an outstanding job. Here is a list of work that was done professionally well - full house floor screeding, full internal doors hung, architrave and squirting boards, full house decoration, all bathroom soakaways dug, gravelled and pipework laid and left in excellent condition, 2,100 sqft of loft insulation laid to 300mm regulations, full external soffits, fascia's and guttering completed, full house external battens, membrane and fully cladded. 200 sq mtr patio laid and silicon grouted. There were many other small jobs around the house that Kevin and his team did without quibble and were always happy to do. Our overall experience with Kevin and his team was exceptional service and workmanship second to none. All the teams attitude was extremely positive and we had a lot of fun along the way which made a tough time an enjoyable experience. Pat Norman is not what he says he is. Blocked in a Back Door & Window, installed a smaller window in the same place. Installed the door & window at the back of our garage. All fine. However, he then started on the conversion of my kitchen. My god what a mess. He took ages to sort out the plumbing for Loo, Sink & Shower. The tiling was so bad, he damaged a new shower door beyond repair, i was lost for words. The job he said would be done in 2-3 weeks, after 6.5weeks i had had enough of him. He even asked me if i was happy with what he had done! Well what could i say. I told him that he had two options, complete the job to a very high standard, knowing that he could not do this, or pay me back 50% of the money i had already paid him. Neither of these options he has done. He charged me 150 pounds per day. I have one of these door bells which pick up every motion from my front door. He was in and out of my house every 10 mins the whole time he was working, or not working, which is more the case. I sent him a invoice giving him time to repay me, then statements and telling him what i intended to do. i receive nothing. This man is not a professional person. He is as stated in a text message a 66 year old , occasional plumber. Very different to what he says he is. PLEASE DO NOT GO AND EMPLOYEE THIS PERSON FOR ANY WORK YOU MAY HAVE. HE WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU WITH A DISASTER ON YOUR HANDS. We decided to go with Jake for removing a load bearing wall to create an open space for the kitchen and the living room following structural engineers instructions. We had a very good impression when Jake passed by to see the wall for the first time to provide us with a quote. To be honest, we were quite scared about the idea of leaving someone touch the structure of the house, but we decided to trust him for this. We discussed about how the work would be done and started the process of party wall notice. Once we had that notice, we discussed about a day to start the job and he passed by again (months later) so we could decide how the beam would go in the house and understand the process. Jake was extremely efficient and he finished the job in 3 days, removing a 4m concrete wall almost completely the first day. He was very fast which we appreciate tons, clean and transparent during all the job. He explained us all the process and when we were in doubts about it or his methods and asked to know more details, he was extremely transparent and described everything in an easy to understand way. We are very grateful and happy with the work done and we are very confident to definitely recommend him for any structural job.

Completed the work to a very high standard, couldn’t ask for anymore. Protection was put down, plastering was perfect even though sone areas were very tricky to get to Will definitely be using this company again
