I had a very disappointing experience with NTB Plumbing and Heating. The project, originally meant to take 1-2 weeks, dragged on for 2 months. While Nathan did excellent plumbing work, the tiling, grouting, and silicon were poorly done, as if it was their first time. Tom’s behavior was extremely unprofessional and aggressive. When I requested to delay final payment to check for leaks, he became abusive, threatening to smash the bathroom, terrifying my family. Despite their 12-month warranty claim, a leak started within a month, and they have since ignored my calls. I provided all the materials and even my own tools, but they wasted a lot of resources, using incorrect tools and causing damage. I now have to pay extra to fix the leak. While Nathan’s plumbing was solid, the overall experience was terrible due to poor quality, wasted materials, and Tom’s alarming conduct. Be cautious if you choose to work with them.

We can highly recommend Harpal, who completely refitted our old 1980s bathroom. I was anxious about starting this project, as I work from home and had heard horror stories from friends about length of time their bathroom refits took! Harpal said he could complete in a week and was true to his word. He showed up every day with his colleague and they worked long days, sticking to his quote and delivered on time. He stripped out the old bathroom fittings, tiles and flooring, skimmed the walls & built a box frame for the bath. He installed a new heated towel rail, replaced the bathroom fittings including vanity unit and wall cabinet and retiled to a high standard. Harpal is multi-skilled, quick working and reliable. We are so happy with our bright new bathroom and will certainly consider Harpal and team for any future work in the house.

He completed the work but did a very poor job. He found the leaks. He put sealant around the shower door instead of removing the whole shower frame and putting sealant below the frame. He should have allowed us to use the shower for 1 or 2 days for any leaks. Instead, he closed the large opening in the ceiling in the kitchen below the shower. When we started using the shower, within 5 minutes, it started leaking again. Having spent a lot of money we are back to square one. In spite of several reminders for a receipt for the money paid and asking him to come and look at it, he wrote a rude message only after several messages. He refused to come neither he sent the receipt. I consider him as a rogue trader and I would not recommend him.I will be taking legal action for recovering the money paid. Why should I spend again when we are back to square one.
