Latest review:Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)-Methodical, organiser, reliable, affable. (1) REPLACING EXTERNAL SEALS AROUND UPVC WINDOW FRAMES> Simon was the only one who answered. He asked to come round to assess the job, which i prefer to someone quoting unseen and also offered me an alternative (strips) and gave me a quote. He and Dan came quickly (the water had been coming in around window and into room beneath). It made such a difference in both appearance and for ease of cleaning. I asked at the same time if he could look at: (2) REPLACING THE POLYCARB ROOF ON MY LITTLE PORCH (water coming in). He brought round a written quotation in person to avoid delay. The quote was higher than i'd hoped and for the job i envisaged (but it needed doing). i thought a pre-made frame & polycarb would just be screwed on with a few bits added. I was wrong on both counts! Simon, his Dad & Dan came quicker than i'd even hoped (& fitted around other work carried out here.) Despite the list of materials Simon gave me i still hadnt realised the work this entailed- each component of each layer had to be measured, pieced together, fitted & secured. The whole structure secured & sealed. This took time (12 manhours) & care. I NOW ACTUALLY FEEL THE COST WAS EXTREMELY REASONABLE.They all worked so hard.The priority wasto stop water ingressbut the result is neat, smart, classy. very impressed.thanQ
