Ashley was friendly and gave a competitive quote. We arranged a date for him to complete the works which was unfortunately two days into lockdown. Ashley didn’t let me know he wasn’t coming and when I called asking where he was, was defensive and agitated suggesting I should have known he wouldn’t come. I said a polite message wouldn’t have gone a miss as workers who couldn’t work from home were being encouraged to go to work (my job was outside) He said he would get back in touch after lockdown. Still no contact. Therefore I have done the work myself.

Most recently returning after 7 months working as a Carpenter for the British Antarctic Survey at Rothera Research Station, in Antarctica. Furthermore I have a 1st class degree in Construction Management, giving me competency with Architectural softwares including AutoCAD and Sketch up for design purposes.

Aaron did a great job of replacing 6 internal doors. He is very hardworking and works very tidily, always cleaning up after himself. Also very reasonably priced. After coming to view the work to be carried out, he sent lots of links to help with what was needed to complete the work. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend Aaron. Thank you. 😀

We re-developed a semi derelict, former railway building, turning it into a Pub Restaurant. The project was big and for us daunting , but with John and his team on board, was actually great fun. The quality of work is very good, we had an advertised opening date so we had to be on time, in fact the work was finished a couple of days early and his "boys" helped us move furniture, plant shrubs etc etc. His craftsmen and labourers were polite, helpful and really cared about the job. The whole team were great at helping us overcome unforeseen problems. You are welcome to view the work done at The Weighbridge Brewhouse, Penzance Drive. Swindon. Turn up look and maybe have a drink, make up your own mind, we think it's fab!! John's part of the build was on budget, our's wasn't !! I am very happy to recommend J. Saunders Builders, it's great to get a trades man who listens to what you want, not one who think's he knows. 9 months on, we have had very few problems/snags to be sorted.

We have recently had a conservatory built by Chippenham Conservatories & Windows. As they were recommended by friends we were keen to invite them to quote for the work. Their prices were competitive, they seemed very genuine and they didn't put us under any pressure to make a decision. From start to finish everything ran smoothly, on time and the price quoted never changed. All of the team were professional and friendly. The work was completed to a high standard and Barry the builder was extremely tidy and efficient. Rob & Mark kept in touch throughout the project to make sure we were happy. He is absolutely amazing. Very experienced, professional and reliable, with a very reasonable price. He fitted our garden door beautifully and also kindly helped us adjust another glass door that had not been properly installed by a previous developer.
