I've worked in all forms of joinery on construction sites, building homes and installing and replacing timber doors, windows, roof to floors; I've also worked as bench joiner in a workshop manufacturing doors and windows. I'm self employed working full-time, here to source weekend work for a little extra cash. My prices (fitting only prices) Per single door: £50 hollow door £70 solid softwood £90 solid hardwood £300 internal fire door £450 external door ... Door frame adjustment (very rarely necessary): x0.5-1 the door fitting price (depends on the condition of the walls to fix too). ... New door lining/ frame fitting: x0.5-1 door fitting price (depends on the condition of the wall to fix too). ... Dispose of old doors: £4.50 each. £3.00 each lining/ frame per single door. ......... Skirting board and architrave fitting: £6 per meter. ... I may consider discounting prices on full floor fitting or full house fitting. ... Thank you. My guarantee: Is customer satisfaction. I will touch up any of my work that you find requires it. For example, new doors are kept bone dry in the warehouse and may swell when fitted into a home due to the natural humidity in the air, this can cause issues with opening & closing the door within 2 weeks of fitting. This is a natural occurrence and not an error in the fitting. I would simply have to readjust/ plane the door once it has tuned to its new climate, there is no additional charge for this adjustment.
