On 12th June we negotiated the price and he informed me he can start the job on 3rd July which I accept it. Then he wanted 50% of the cost in advance which I have refused and he said he is trying to get a credit from selco and he will let me know later on. I messaged him again to confirm his attendance but he said he is on holiday and no more words. On 2nd July I messaged him to confirm again but didn't replied and on 3rd July he messaged and said his got another job and he couldn't get a credit and he is not coming. He stood me up for 3 weeks and even had no decency to let me know earlier. I refused another carpenter because of him. Be aware of this man as I believe he is not trustworthy, carelessness and inhuman. Most trade man will do the job and send the invoice and then ask for money. I am sure he is a con man and perhaps after getting the money in advance not turning on. Don't trust him and never give money in advance.

John did a fantastic job of replacing a large sash window in our kitchen. He was easy to work with, and was very clean and tidy with the job. On top of that the price was very fair, particularly for the calibre of work completed. Would recommend!!

I had French doors fitted in the kitchen. The advice and service was great. As soon as doors were delivered they were fitted the next day. The guys fitting were very nice, polite, tidy and worked steadily throughout the day even though it was really hot and sunny. They make a huge difference to the light in the room and access to the garden. All this at a very competitive price. I would recommend without hesitation and will definitely use them again for any future works.

Overall a good job. They got a very good match with the new bricks on the porch to our existing house and the porch looks good. The job did take slightly longer to complete than we had been told and there are a few small things that could have had a better finish, but then we haven't asked Bauer to put these right so can't fault them for what they don't know. Overall we would hire again and we are pleased with the result and value for money.
