I’ve personally worked with 15+ different builders/contractors over the last few years. I have to say most of the folks are under expectation. Lewis was very professional, had eyes for details and easy to work with. He was also a good communicator and always ready for any questions from first time of contacting. He was very calm, reliable and not going to push you for anything. He shared progress and kept you informed for the next step proactively. Alan contacted me about my job and after meeting him on site, seemed like he knew what he was talking about and the price seemed reasonable. I decided to take him on for the job advertised on here and did it quickly and effectively. I needed other things to be done too and, discussing them with him, he was willing to take on those jobs as well. We are now part way through my list and things are going well. I have been particularly pleased with his 'customer service', if you will. I am quite specific about things and he has always had a very positive attitude to getting it like I want it, which is very much appreciated. He is also exceptionally responsive to messages which a lot of trades people, even very good ones, can often not be.
