I wanted to have a window put in to a downstairs WC, and a rear window converted to French doors. Dean replied quickly to my initial phone enquiry and came round with his builder to do a quick survey of the job, measure-up, and check window/door style/colour. His quote for the French doors & window installation, plastering, tiling, and clean-up was very reasonable. On his suggestion we reused a window frame from the rear window for the WC window thus saving money. The French doors were to the highest spec and leading to sides panels matched exactly to existing window leading. Reglazing of WC window with frosted glass exactly matched existing front door frosted glass. Tiling in the WC reused the existing tiles which had been removed carefully so they did not break. Tiling job was excellent. Overall an excellent, quick, courteous, friendly, professional, job. Couldn’t be happier. Dean and his team, and their great can-do attitude removed all the stress I might have had getting this job done. I will be hiring Dean for other work around my house in the very near future.

Great job from start to finish. Communication was excellent, Don and his assistant turned up bang on time and worked like trojans to get the whole job done in a day. Also came up with excellent solutions to practical problems and he is very pragmatic about finding ways to make things work. All in all, the work done has massively improved the saleability of our house. Highly recommended.

We employed Bennetts Restoration after they came recommended from a friend, who couldn’t speak highly enough of their experience with them. They were really happy with their work and delighted with the results! We asked several builders to provide a quote for a major renovation and extension and James (the owner) came back promptly, with clear information and was friendly and transparent throughout this process (the same could not be said for other builders!) Throughout the job, James and his team were polite and respectful and kept our house as clean as tidy as possible, providing helpful advice and explanations along the way. The timescales were clearly communicated and any slight changes or issues addressed seamlessly. We were so impressed with Bennetts Restoration, that we have actually asked them to come back and do the work on our interior! Would 100% recommend – Builders of this calibre seem like a rarity these days!

Charlie has been extremely helpful throughout and is now coming back to do additional work for me. He has replaced several steamed-up upvc double glazing units, as well as window handles & locks and new patio sliding door handles. All are good quality products fitted at a reasonable price and work was completed at times that were convenient to me. His quote was also less than half what some larger local companies asked for, but the quality of the parts supplied and his workmanship are excellent. He has also properly rehung an external door that was badly fitted by a well known national company for me. All in all, a really valuable local tradesman to know and therefore definitely highly recommended!
