Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 19 Oct 2026
The job was completed, all neat and tidy. We had delays, largely due to the glass supplier rather than AJK Construction. The guys were suitably apologetic and kept me informed about what they were doing to rectify the situation. I would definitely use them again for glazing and would also recommend them to friends too.

Are you fully qualified and insured?

It’s best to choose a door fitter in Callington who has proper qualifications and insurance to handle the installation safely. Look for certifications like FENSA and confirm that the fitter carries public liability insurance to cover any potential damage to your property.

A local Callington door fitter should offer a warranty for both the door and the installation. This ensures that any issues with the door or fitting will be addressed without additional cost for a specified period, typically 1–2 years for installation.

Do you need to conduct a survey before installation?

Callington door fitters may conduct a pre-installation survey to ensure the door fits properly. This involves taking measurements and assessing the condition of the door frame to avoid issues during the fitting process.

What is the estimated timeline for installation?

The Callington fitter should provide a clear timeline for how long the installation will take. A typical installation can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, depending on the complexity of the job and the number of doors being fitted.
