I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

I hired IbericoFresh to re-grout my bathroom floor. The initial quote was £250, which increased to £300 after I sent photos. On arrival, he raised the price again to £400, stating the bathroom was larger than expected and promising to leave it “beautiful and clean.” I agreed on that basis. He originally said the job would take around 10 hours, but he arrived at 10:30am and left by 5pm, clearly rushing the work. He failed to remove the old grout before applying the new grout, meaning much of it wiped away when the floor was cleaned. Large areas, corners and crevices were left unfinished. He also left grout smeared across the walls and tiles, creating a grey haze that I had to clean myself. Although materials were supposedly included, he brought only grout. He ruined towels, used all my bin bags, and damaged my mop and bucket. When I complained, he initially offered to return but later dismissed my concerns, saying it “wasn’t that bad” and refusing to come back. The work was poor.

Posted our job on Thursday of last week and Steve replied about 2 hours later, and then visited us the same day, Following his visit he sent a detailed quote the same evening and we agreed that he could start the following Monday. All work was completed on time (2 days) and to a very acceptable standard. Would happily recommend.

Tevin started on the specified day and did a superb job on tiling three bathroom walls and floor (including round the window and small fiddly sections behind the pipes). He was methodical, tidy with great attention to detail and a really nice guy to have in the property.
