This guy wanted to tile onto of laminated floor without ripping off the laminate. Luckily I had a friend who is a professional. My friend quickly noticed that he was doing a wrong job and advised him to remove the laminate before tiling. The heat was on as they were aware that an experience professional was there. They told us that they will like to buy some materials and never returned. After several calls to AJ, he finally conceded that the work was above his tiler. It is a shame that they started pulling off my floor and left my stuff outside without the courtesy or letting us know in good time that they will not be capable of doing the job. I will not recommend AJ

Grant is an excellent tiler. He is extremely hardworking (worked from 7am to 5pm) and very efficient. He was quick to quote me for the job and started immediately. His quote was excellent- much cheaper compared to other tilers. He completed a very large job within 5 days and cleaned up after himself. If you need a tiler, Grant is the man for the job! I definately wouldn't look anywhere else. I will 100% be using him again. Thank you again

I had a few tiles replaced around my bath, a new bath screen fitted and the sealant redone. The initial quote was £150 and I was then told (after the tiles had been removed from my wall) that it would be £210, as an extra two tiles needed to be fitted. The new tiles are not level or spaced evenly, the sealant was not smoothed out and came loose and the shower screen was not fitted properly. My main focus was just to have a watertight shower, so I accepted that I could re-do the sealant myself and that I could live with the uneven tiles, but I asked him to return to fit the last part of the shower door to the wall, as I am not comfortable drilling in to a tile myself. I have paid for this job to be done after all, and shouldn't be correcting it myself. I initially received an excuse saying the door I bought had bad reviews and that there were no parts left to fit. I sent a picture of the fitting instructions, showing that the final stages hadn't been completed, and a picture of the 'spare parts' he had left behind. I received another excuse that he had met somebody that day who coincidentally had bought the same shower door and recommended it was removed. I explained the panel was fine and needed to be fitted properly, per the instructions. I patiently waited a month and was promised on multiple occasions that he would return to do this, which did not happen. Each time a different excuse. I have now had to pay somebody else £50 to finish the job.
