Trudi is a lovely friendly lady. She let us know when she was on the way to us. She has done a fantastic job of chiselling, using stonesaw to get out the old mortar then repointing/filling our steps. She worked hard all day non-stop apart from cups of tea & biccies, shes a very tidy worker and can't recommend her high enough. Can't speak highly enough of Chris Lawrence. His work is top quality and genuinely second to none. We've hired other stonemasons in the past that we thought were good but Chris's work outshines them. He is very professional, provides clear easy to understand quotes with no hidden charges. He gets on with the job and keeps you posted how it's going. We’re absolutely delighted with the quality of the workmanship Mark put in to restore our tired, chipped and stained front-doorsteps! Mark instinctively recognised that we are keen to keep as close to the original features of our Edwardian home, and replaced the old stone treads and risers with new York stone for us! Absolutely superb! Mark and his team did a complete refurbishment of my late father's property, that turned out to be a lot bigger than it appeared at first. He and his team were very easy to work with and had great suggestions and ideas of how to improve the property without breaking the bank. Really pleased with the finished result. Matthew took this job on even though it wasn't going to be the easiest of jobs due to the fact it's up several steps to the house/ garden we have no drive so material and skip were based over on the car park across a very busy road but that didn't put matthew off. Matthew and Craig worked hard and were so accommodating with everything we asked of them. They were hard working. Arrived daily just got on with the job.
