So until I got Owen on the job, making progress was a real 2 steps forward one step back. I even had another builder (off this site) pull out just a couple of days before he was due to start. Having originally turned Owen down, when I went back to him, he was happy to confirm his original competitive quote and despite some issues obtaining materials (for my non-standard roof) gave me a start date. He turned up on time for both the quote site visit and to start the job and unbelievably, he gave my house a complete new roof in a little over a day, including clearing away all the old roof. He was honest and open with me and delivered everything he said he would and cured the leaks I was suffering. Great job, well done. Thanks to all at Rose Roofing! For those wondering why I didn't use Owen in the first place; I was suffering leaks, so time was as much an issue as cost. I initially chose someone else as they said they had the materials in stock and could start almost immediately.
