My experience with Michael has been absolutely negative. I have hired him to carry out a roof leak repair, and after his suggestions we agreed to replace all the felt and flashing of two velux windows. At the end of the works and after three different visits to our house, very disappointingly we found out that not only he didn't fix the leak, but he just overlapped multiple layers of felt on top of the old one, making the roof non breathable, he didn't install any window flashing and he left multiple broken tiles on. The works costed us almost £3000, no explanation was given to us for the issues caused, and when we asked for the money back he just refused to refund us, saying that he could come and fix the problems, but at this point we feel like we have been cheated and we cannot trust him again. The works and his behaviour have been absolutely unprofessional, and we are forced now to pursue legal action against him to get our money back and hire someone else to do the job again and fix all the issues.

Gary did a fantastic job grinding and re-pointing the front elevation of my property. He also went above and beyond in his help checking with potential issues with my guttering and ventilation within the house. The job was originally quoted to last two days, but due to reason out of Gary's control this became a three day job. Despite that however the charged did not differ from the original quoted price. Very happy with Gary and the work he did, and I will be using him again in the future.

School never really suited me if I’m honest. I’ve always been the type who prefers working with my hands, solving problems, and actually seeing something finished at the end of the day. Roofing runs in my family as well. My grandad was a roofer, my dad was a roofer, and now it’s my turn to carry on the family tradition. Over the years I’ve worked on pretty much every aspect of the trade. Slating, tiling, lead work, flat roofs, cladding, repairs, full re roofs. When you’ve been around roofs long enough you start to spot problems quickly and more importantly you learn how to fix them properly. I started my own company in 2022 and since then I've managed to build up over 100 glowing reviews from happy customers, which I'm really proud of. The way I run things is pretty simple. I turn up when I say I will, I show you exactly what the problem is, and I explain the options clearly so you can decide what you want to do. You’ll probably find cheaper. That’s fine.
