Hi, I’m Baz from Riverleaf Carpentry. I’m a carpenter with over 40 years of hands-on experience, specialising in high-quality carpentry, restoration and renovation. I have particular experience working with period and heritage properties, where understanding the existing building, preserving its character and getting the details right are every bit as important as the finished appearance. From repairing and restoring original features to creating new work that sits naturally within an older property, I take a practical and considered approach to every project. Alongside heritage and restoration work, we undertake a wide range of domestic carpentry and renovation projects, including kitchens, fitted and bespoke furniture, doors, flooring, interior and exterior timberwork and general carpentry. Whatever the size of the job, I believe in doing things properly. That means good workmanship, careful attention to detail and a finish designed to stand the test of time. I’m reliable and straightforward to deal with, and I believe good communication is just as important as good workmanship. I’ll talk through the job clearly, turn up when I say I will, keep you informed as work progresses and treat your home and property with care and respect. Much of my work over the years has come through word of mouth and recommendation, something I’m very proud of and which reflects the standard I aim to deliver on every project. Whether you’re restoring a period property, planning a renovation, looking for bespoke carpentry or simply need an experienced carpenter for a smaller project, we’d be happy to discuss what you have in mind.
