I cant recommend JS Home Improvements enough. Jonathan provided a thorough quote, agreed a start date and completed the chimney breast removal in less than 3 days. There was no stop/start issues or leaving it days to return and complete. Jonathan was reliable and very hardworking. It's hard to find decent and reliable tradesmen nowadays but you won't gonfar wrong with JS Home Improvements. I will be using this company again. I'm more than happy to be used as a customer reference in the future and speak to any potential customers about our experience if Jonathan needs this. In person or via telephone.

It was a chore finding someone to actually do the job and we were let down on more than one occasion. So I was happy when I was contacted by Sam, as two weeks later work was started on the room. Sam and his team did an awesome job on the room and I couldn’t be happier with the results I will definitely call on Sam and his team again, should I need any further renovations in the future.

He guided me through every step of installing my new kitchen - a task I was dreading. His workmanship is fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone. Honestly would never recommend this company to anyone. Everything started well for the first day was onsite all was good. Day 2 didn’t turn up to the job and no reply until dinner time when I get a call “sorry I slept in” they did end up coming to do some of the job only because their tools was left at my house. They had to come back due to not enough tiles which is not their fault I understand that. Told me they will there possibly on Thursday- no show then told me I’ll be there at “ some point” on the Friday never turned up. I spoke to him on the weekend and asked when are you coming to finish off the job he said 100% Monday - happy days going to get it sorted. Monday comes message on this app sorry I won’t be there this morning had my phone and cards all stolen will be there this afternoon. Yet again still no show! I have been without a bathroom for 16 days with a 6 month pregnant partner and have to get someone else to finish the job! And paid £700 for all this stress

David gave us confidence that he’d be able to do the job from his first visit. The price he gave was very reasonable. He arrived on time and caused no disruption to our house whilst completing the job. His level of workmanship is excellent and his customer interaction is the best. He left the room he was working in with no mess and we would and hopefully will have him back to our house for future work. I can’t recommend David highly enough.

Wakefield bros have been great from start to finish. Sammy contacted me with a quote and follow up call. She requoted me based on my needs and I asked them to come in. They sent someone out to measure up and then arranged a date. They sent me a mock up of the design so I could see what they had in mind. Once I’d paid the deposit they booked me in - was approx 2 week turnaround. The builders were advised of my job role and were respectful of that as I was working when they were in the house. They got the job done quickly and got me to have a look at it half way through the build. I was very happy. They cleaned up between each section and left the space spotless. When they were clearing up they were mindful of my job and were very quiet. I’m very happy with the work done and have Wakefield Bros planned for another job I want doing in the new year. I spoke with Nathan and he seemed very positive and we arranged a day for him to come to do the job. He asked me to send some pictures of the work prior to him coming which I sent through to him but did not get a reply. I messaged a further 2 times to confirm if he was coming or not and he ignored my messages and did not come at the agreed time. I really needed this job doing quickly and waited because he was meant to come, so 1 week later I still need the job completing. Very disappointing.

Ian was brilliant. He was first to contact me back on a Sunday afternoon and he was happy to come and take a look at the job in hand which was reducing a chunky oak table in length by 600mm. We are about to move home and the table was just too large for the space so rather than sell £1800 worth of table and chairs for peanuts and buying a new one it made sense to me to find a cabinet maker who knows wood who could reduce the length. Ian said he could and he walked me through the job and I knew straight away he would produce what I wanted. Job done and only me, my wife and Ian knows because you can not tell due to the level of workmanship on our shorter table. Absolutely delighted.
