Ste and Will responded quickly to request. Rang and visited house when said they would. Kept in contact for quote and any amendments we asked for after initial quote. Arrived as agreed to start job snd were very aware of respect of our property and removed any rubbish same day and thorough cleaned areas too. I have been in the business for 15 years. My job role includes: all general plumbing, tiling, plastering and electrics (a team who work alongside me).
Professional, friendly, trustworthy and approachable at all times !! A total refurb of our property wasn’t going to be a walk in the park, and battling through a mine field of potential tradespeople was no easy task. Phil came way out on top for his costing, reliability and attention to detail for the complete refurb of our bathroom, keeping me well informed and updated throughout every step of the process. Our previous bathroom had been fitted by, lets say, those guys who wear big hats and ride horses, and had created numerous challenges for Phil to rectify before he was able to proceed with the job. However, Phil achieved this without question or quibble !! I am so blown away with the completion of my bathroom, it’s stunning and everything I had envisioned it would be. Phil has agreed to return and do more work for us, and there is no other tradesman I would welcome more. Phil states in his profile that he is a perfectionist - I can verify this without a doubt !! We had a leaking shower that was coming into the kitchen & leaking kitchen sink. The plumber sent by Step Stones (Liam) did a really good job with minimum fuss & actually saved us £20 on the original quote which was a bonus. definitely recommend.Latest review:Bathroom Fitting-Andrew Johnson

Gary was great in every way - quick to respond to messages, really reasonably priced, and did a lovely job. When there were a few unforeseen complications, he even moved things around to come an extra day and make sure he finished the job for us as quickly as possible. Jimmy was fantastic. He was punctual despite driving a fair distance. Eager to please and complete the job professionally. Found the source of the problem which our local plumber could not find. Also changed our overflow system despite limited access. Nasty smell gone!! Good value for money, definitely highly recommend and will use again if require an expert plumber. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tradesman. He cancelled on me at the last minute twice, and on the third occasion, he didn’t show up at all or notify me.
