Works not completed and Jack gone AWOL. Building control cannot reach him so won't certify..We have had to hire a new builder - who is finding defects and shoddy work everywhere. Unfortunately Jack went missing and has ignored all calls, emails, whatsapps and attempts at communication over the course of many weeks. Our building control needed responses from him to certify works - unfortunately works cannot now be certified and may need to be torn up. This was a long and complex project, we are disappointed he hasn't seen it through.Unfortunately out of goodwill we paid invoices prior to final completion. Lesson learned I suppose. Darren did an excellent job of building stone walls and driveway pillars at my home. He was polite and did his utmost to make sure I chose the exact materials I required. Him and his assistant worked tirelessly in very hot conditions and tidied everything away every evening. His quote was reasonable and his professionalism was exemplary. I would have no hesitation in recommending Darren and if I need work doing again I would definitely call on his assistance.
