A few years into my teens while learning how to groundwork and deep drainage I met my business partner and we have grown into a multi skilled building team. We offer the customer a very professional quality job and can put are hand to almost all building projects. From doing footings to a reroof, landscaping and land drains concreting small shed bases to petrol tank base's, tanking damp cellars to doing feature walls with lovely wall paper and so much more. If you choose to use us you will be very happy with the outcome we keep the customer updated as the job progresses we are very clean and tidy and punctual. Sam was engaged via Mybuilder to carry out internal redecoration on 2 rental properties we had recovered, after nightmare tenants had vacated. The properties were in considerably worse condition than we had been led to believe, by the inventories carried out by the rental agent. In addition to redecoration work Sam also resolved plumbing leaks installed new kitchen sinks, pressure washed the exteriors & many other additional handyman tasks. In total, during October & November, Sam was engaged for a total of 12 days. He worked late into the day when it was called for & travelled a considerable distance each day to ensure the work got finished quickly. He also worked with a removal company to collect & install purchased furniture & whiteware into both properties. This enabled us to convert both properties into holiday homes whilst they remain on the market for sale. I certainly intend to use Sam again in the future when additional work is required. Jobs I undertake are: -wall painting (manually and spray painting) -Wood painting (all kinds -including minor repairs) -outdoor door/window sills -wallpaper removal
Very pleasant and friendly guy however the painting was way below standard, skirting boards and walls and ceiling painted to a low standard. No masking tape was used so had grey wall paint going into the white ceiling and vice versa. No straight edges on ceiling or skirting boards as he didn’t bother to use masking tape. I was quoted an amount and he said it would take one day, I asked him over the phone are you sure you can do it in one day he said yes which I thought was not realistic, anyway after the first day he saw it would take half day extra so he asked me to pay him nearly an extra 50% more of the price that was quoted which I declined because I had gone ahead with the work based on his quote. If he misquoted then that’s not on me. He had quoted to apply undercoat to the walls which he didn’t. Skirting boards were not prepped properly so ended up with a bad finish on them and can see the previous colour underneath. I’ve had to spend hours and hours trying to fix these things to make it look decent. If I could attach pics I would to show the quality of work, disappointed to say the least I could have took my time and done a better job if I knew the end result would be like this.Latest review:Painting & Decorating-

I have a portfolio of rental properties that have been fully refurbished by myself, from the initial rip out of the existing building fabric, to assisting electricians with re-wires, building partition walls, installing windows, installing new floors, plasterboarding walls and ceilings, painting and decorating, installing kitchens and bathrooms. I also went travelling for almost 2 years where I worked doing property maintenance works for people local to where we were at that time and also labouring for construction & plumbing firms. All my properties have been done to a high standard with photo evidence of the work available and I am now able to also offer my construction and design skills to other people.
