The quality of his workmanship is top notch. Both Colin and his assistant Jordan were tidy, considerate and didn't leave any mess. I've booked him for a second job next month, fitting my new kitchen....which says it all really!

Plus other smaller tasks such as gutters and fascia boards, roofing, tiling, flooring, painting work and decoration. Anything related to building except electrical work but I have an electrician and plumber who I can call in if necessary. Because I can put my hand to most trades I can complete the task in hand from start to finish, therefore not leaving until the job is completed. Ben worked on a single storey extension at our property between August 2023 and January 2024. Despite several complications, including access issues for machinery due to the location of our property, nothing seemed to phase Ben and he always found a way to make things happen, where other builders had been put off. He kept us regularly updated with weekly progress reports, setting out what work had been completed and the schedule for the coming days and weeks, which we found really helpful. Having never had any building work done everything was new to us but Ben instantly put at as ease and we knew we were in safe hands! Ben also explained any changes he needed to make and was happy to talk through the different options available, always explaining things clearly so we could understand. Payments were also clearly set out so we knew what we were being charged for and when. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were always polite and courteous and very tidy, making sure the site was cleaned up and left clear of safety hazards at the end of each day. In terms of communication, Ben was always very quick to answer messages and come back with the answer to any queries we had. The team arrived punctually on site each day and we were always updated if there were any changes to their working pattern. Ben was also very considerate to our neighbours when he needed access to their garden in order to complete the work. Our extension was completed to a very high standard and we are extremely happy with it. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben and the CRD team to anyone undertaking a building project.

Jack did a great job. One of the nicest and most professional carpenters I've ever had. He showed up promptly with all the right tools for the job including a Festool dust extractor and cleaned up meticulously as he went. He cut my doors without damaging the paint work, and sanded them. I was so impressed by his work that I asked him to come back and replace some door knobs and old window catches, which he removed and filled to be as good as new. Highly recommend - great work ethic and a true professional.
