Excellent from start to finish.! Can’t recommend these guys enough. Very competitive quote provided (with suggestions made to reduce costs etc) The job was completed whilst I was on holiday., and daily progress was fed to me, including pictures etc. Job was completed on-time., and to budget. Standard of workmanship was very high, and I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting genuine professional tradesmen, at a very competitive price.

Ryan is very friendly, efficient and tidy. He is aesthitically minded, which is great! He was willing to crawl around in a small cupboard to connect new chrome pipes for a radiator, which others weren't willing to do. Ryan and his new helper were brilliant, and did everything that I wanted him to do (including fitting a new kitchen tap), but also did it very quickly, and didn't leave a mess! I thoroughly recommend him!

A nightmare! They were employed to do all the work i.e. plastering, boarding, knocking out one wall, fitting bathroom suite, kitchen, re-wire, plumbing central heating etc. Glenn was supposed to project manage, which he didn't. Plasterer made a terrible mess on my floorboards throughout; he left plaster all over the picture rails & skirting boards & finish around the edges was horrendous. In bathroom plastered over window frame. Plumbing - done by an apprentice and was not checked, so we had to call them back numerous times. He worked in phases and after each phase he asked for payment. When we were not happy he made us feel that we were making a fuss and we paid up because he promised that anything we were not happy with would be corrected at the end. We had supporting beams put under the lounge to support the floor, of which were not done by a builder; hence they were not supporting anything, so had to call them back and even then the job was done by an all-rounder and not a builder. I could go on and on as we had a long list in the end but had to give up after so many times of them coming back as their standard of work was not professional. The only thing in his favour was that they came back to correct several things when asked but the standard was poor. I would advise not to employ anyone until you have seen the standard of work and don’t assume that if the feedback is good on small jobs that they are capable of doing the big jobs.

Job done very efficiently, cleanly and at a very reasonable price. Turned up promptly on date agreed. Very pleasant and respectful workers. Overall an excellent job. Unfortunately since the initial work was completed some of the paving has come loose and in other parts materials used have crumbled. Despite trying to contact the tradesperson on six separate and spaced out occasions vis my builder, telephone and direct messaging Shane’s has ignored my request to contact me to make good the work he undertook. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

Hi neither Ben nor Dan have started yet but their "can do" attitude and ability to listen to what the customer, me, wanted won them the job. They were head and shoulders above anyone else. Their quotation was very reasonably priced for the amount of work I want them to do. Absolutely outstanding job from start to finish, I am a very happy customer! From the moment the job was booked in Brian was fantastic. Unfortunately, the work was a lot more involved than first anticipated but Brian kept me informed throughout the process, even saving me money where he could. The finished work (albeit a few finishing off jobs) is of an excellent standard and my house looks great. Brian of Commscot is a hidden gem on this site – professional, friendly, helpful and communicative throughout – I really couldn’t ask for more! If you’re anything like me and read reviews meticulously before hiring in tradesmen then you really need look no further. I did read one or two negative reviews as well as the many positive ones about Brian – what absolute rubbish some people write! I would hire him again in an instant!

Phil did my kitchen, put some under the stairs storage, and decking in garden with a pegola. Also did the flooring in my front room. Very happy with the quality, it was really lovely. One of the cleanest work men I've ever had. I thought his prices were reasonable, Phil was reliable, absolutely. Would recommend him highly. He cleaned up after himself and I didn't have to do anything after he left. I was very pleased with him and would have him back again no problems.
