I worked with a company for almost 7 years on the books, we took on renovations, bench joinery right through to new builds so I have covered a lot of Carpentry & Joinery. If you're needing kitchens fitted, floors laid, doors hung or even your sash and case windows draft proofed or renovated we try to cover it all. It's not always interior work, we cover decking fencing and those lovely summer outhouses that are really popular just now. **Only using Mybuilder when the diary needs filled**

Scotia Property Services is a premier, Fife-based property care specialist delivering general building and preservation solutions across mainland Scotland. New Damp and Mould Law The new damp and mould law, known as Awaab's Law, aims to ensure that landlords in Scotland investigate and address damp and mould issues more quickly and consistently. The law requires landlords to: Investigate reports of damp or mould within 10 working days. Provide a written summary of the investigation findings to the tenant within 3 working days. Commence repairs within 5 working days if the investigation determines that work is required. Ensure the house is substantially free from damp and mould as far as reasonably practicable. The law is a response to the tragic death of Awaab Ishak, who died from a respiratory condition caused by mould exposure. It is part of Scotland's broader efforts to improve the safety and quality of social housing. The law will be implemented through a phased approach, with the first set of regulations coming into force on 6 October 2026.
