Get in touchDan, Kevin and Dad were very hardworking, reliable and friendly. Our job took a few weeks and they never let us down, only thing that stopped them was the weather. We wanted slate on the bay window which wasn't easy, but a solution was found and we love it. All of our neighbours, the postman and passers by have commented what a lovely job. So much so our neighbour opposite is now getting the outside of her house painted and fixed up in a few weeks. We are now proud of our house and it's water tight. Get in touch£20K+ contract. Was it money well spent, NO. We expected a professional well executed job, we got neither. It's his way, or no way. If you comment on his work, he argues back, off comes his work belt ready to walk off. No client should be left in tears but this happened more than once. A slight delay (with notification) of one stage payment resulted in a threatening email, mediation with his wife, insistence of a signed contract which they broke. Upon completion, he refused to give us time to inspect his work, refused to look at the work together or return. He insisted on final payment immediately despite the work not being to our complete satisfaction (broken contract), Photos available to evidence we are not being unreasonable. We paid 96% but he never returned and the retention did not cover the cost of the appalling ply boxing, replace scratched seal unit to back door, finish tiled floor, remove sharp edges to tile edges, leaking seal to doors, plus many more. We tried maintain a working relationship but this took significant effort, diplomacy and reassurance from us. The swearing was an embarrassment. We would not recommend him or work with him. We suspect the job was too much, too complex and he is not used to consulting with clients. His reply to the above will be; we were his most awkward clients ever and he will refer to all his positive feedbacks. He responded promptly to my enquiry, was friendly and professional and gave me a competitive quote which was fair and realistic. He kept in contact throughout to confirm arrangements. Worked really hard and to the timetable agreed and did an absolutely brilliant job at plastering my new workspace including leaving everything neat and tidy. Ceilings covered and then the whole lot plastered. I fitted the kitchen but the whole job has been a major makeover and upgrade. No problems at all. This was/is a non standard house with poor insulation hence the project. TK works hard, you see a good days effort. Recommended.

He replaced a lintel in my cob cottage with great skill, using cob blocks to support the existing cobwork and finishing off with lime mortar. Looks great – I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
