Just would like to to leave feedback for John and his team. My Wife and I had a very tuff time schedule to achieve a total refurbish and rip out of our place and it was achieved by 21 Century Building team. The team was very understanding with a few changes along the way due to the age of the building and very friendly Even with the tuff time schedule that I gave them. Johns was always on time or early, always willing to give advise and assistance with all aspects of this tuff time scale job he was very supportive collecting supplies, ideas on how to use space available in a small and very compact place, get all tradespersons in at the same time,knowledgeable and funny when needed to ensure we could complete the Refurbishment within the time scale given. The transformation was amazing which was completed within the time scale given. There was a few small snagging issues that John has assisted with and kept in contact after all was completed. I will pass on his details to others who require some help and most importantly advice.

I have not been using my builder for work generation now for 10 years or so as all of my work has been generated by word of mouth, so I have been quite fortunate in that sense. I'm here now as two major projects are on hold for 12 months so I literally have space for work. A lot can be built in 12 months if you have the plans, permissions and finance, so you wont be disappointed.

We set out in writing our requirements ahead of the job starting which were agreed by both. On site, Bryn turned up a man short, and appears to be a one man band when two were promised (and needed) He did initially made some good progress and seems a competent carpenter. After a few days there was significant problems with his behaviour and attitude, demands for payment outside terms agreed and attempting to charge us more than agreed. We tried to resolve this but this was unsuccessful. He became aggressive and repeatedly made threats. We had to ask him to leave the site, he would not and this led to police involvement. Jobs that were due to be complete were left unfinished jobs, he made core mistakes which the building inspector pulled up and has had to be remedied by other trades. He claims he’s a LTD company but failed to present a legal valid invoice and he had to explicitly state invoice requirements. He tried to pressurise us into avoid paying his tax when we’ve legal responsibilities to deduct and pay this. He didn’t have a company tax code and we were eventually able to pay him as a sole trader He’s made repeated threats to come to my personal home where I reside with my children His vile behaviour has put our project behind, cost us additional labour, losing us income on a project that should be complete. He continues to threaten, and appears to think this behaviour acceptable when it is not! Avoid at all cost!
