I wanted my garden totally landscaped as it was all over grown and I could not manage the garden. I asked for artificial grass and a round trampoline to be placed level with the grassed area, therefore the ground had to be dug out to have this done. I also asked for sleeper beds and boundaries and a paving slab area. Once completed, it is such a transformation! I am thrilled with my garden, it is a pleasure for me and my children to be able to have such a beautiful garden and low maintenance too, which was important to me. Contracting Mr Crossland for this work was like a breath of fresh air. I felt he listened to me and my requirements, and he gave great suggestions on the design. Mr Crossland and his team were extremely professional, reliable, clean and tidy and completed the work on time. I would certainly recommend him.

A garden is a space to enjoy and helping people get the most from their garden is satisfying, tiring, rewarding work. I get home tired, sleep well and look forward to the next day at work. My favourite type of gardening is the transformative sort; taking an overgrown, unloved or unused area and making it useful and enjoyable. Old shed to clear and remove or renovate? Great. Flowerbeds to build? Yes please. Horrible overgrown corner made usable? Definitely. Several times I have been told I represent great value due to the rate I work at and the amount I can achieve on my own. I am trusted with gardens, house keys, gate codes and even family pets if clients are way. I am motivated to work hard by my family and by the people and places I am yet to see.

Merveille du Jour (alias Fred Hope) did a truly fantastic job on my garden in just one day. He cleared a large expanse of out-of-control flower beds, followed by a general tidy-up. I know how difficult these beds were as I have tried to do it myself. Powerful roots criss-crossing everywhere made the task seemingly impossible and above ground the plants were all overgrown and tangled up together. Merveille managed to make the beds look spacious and well-planted, both at the same time. I was elsewhere but received lovely videos with commentary throughout the day, showing how he was getting on. So reassuring - and my tenant told me that Merveille worked flat out all through a long day. 'Above and beyond' is the best description I can offer.

Craig provided a very competitive quote for the work required, he came out to find out exactly what we wanted done and confirmed the costs. The communication around making the appointment to carry out the work was excellent. He was very respectful of the garden and the neighbours regarding noise levels. He was very prompt, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time tending the lawn and advising on its ongoing management. Glyn and Martin did such a fantastic job on our kitchen. They removed a load bearing wall in our terraced cottage, and a second exterior load bearing wall to make way for glass doors across the back. This job needed 3 large steels, and as our house is set back from the road behind another row of houses, it has very tricky access and the steels were a very tight fit and hard to maneovre, which frightened off all the other builders we had to look at the job! They did a fantastic job! They're quick, helpful, hard working, smart and fun to have around. Glyn was available 24/7 for all my questions and had brilliant ideas. They're the best builders we've ever used, and we've used ALOT. I would 100% use them again! They impressed me and my husband from day one when Glyn came for an initial consultation and he took his shoes off and stayed for two hours! They came in bang on budget, no fuss or extras, didn't ask for any payments up front (apart from to buy the steels). They recommended a good structural engineer too. Thank you guys!
