Works not completed and Jack gone AWOL. Building control cannot reach him so won't certify..We have had to hire a new builder - who is finding defects and shoddy work everywhere. Unfortunately Jack went missing and has ignored all calls, emails, whatsapps and attempts at communication over the course of many weeks. Our building control needed responses from him to certify works - unfortunately works cannot now be certified and may need to be torn up. This was a long and complex project, we are disappointed he hasn't seen it through.Unfortunately out of goodwill we paid invoices prior to final completion. Lesson learned I suppose. Daniel, perfectly laid our shower-room floor, cutting in tiled envelope and angling floor so water drains off. Previous tillers could manage or remember. He also fixed cupboard sliding rails which again previous builder did do properly.
