Robert kept in touch and arrived when he said he would (both for the quote and the work) - he fixed the wall/gate just as agreed, and very efficient. We are very happy with the repairs and have sought quotes for future projects.

Estimate - Rob was one of the first to respond to the MyBuilder job posting. He came out to see the work and gave me a rough estimate at the time, followed promptly by a formal estimate via MyBuilder. He identified, at the visit, the type of bricks and mortar used. A point of detail I hadn't even considered. Schedule - I was flexible and although our schedule slipped, it made no difference to me. Just a sign of how busy Rob is I guess. Work - Repointing and recapping my very old red brick wall. Rob and Michael arrived at the times agreed, were polite and tidy. The site was clean when they left at the end of the day. The repointing was carried out as agreed, with Rob sourcing the half-round bricks that were needed to cap the wall. The work was carried out sympathetically and the final job is just what I needed and doesn't stick out. Summary: Rob was easy to talk to, no nonsense and knows what he's doing. He responded quickly to my communications and did what he agreed to do, something I really appreciate. On the day he came to deliver the invoice, he swept the work area again (following rain the night before), even after finishing the work the day before and leaving the site clean. On receipt of the invoice, I was pleased to see that it was £50 under the estimate. When I have the need of a general builder in future, I will be calling Rob.

Rob was hired to knock down an existing wall and build a new perimeter wall around our property boundary. Rob was very professional, great with communication and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Rob to anyone considering using him, and I will definitely be a repeat customer for any future work required.

Rob and Mike spent 6 days laying a patio. They were both very professional, polite and considerate throughout and worked hard. They have left the site clean and tidy. I am really pleased with the work and would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

I have known Rob for many years and I would highly recommend him for his professionalism, attention to detail, trustworthy and value for money. He has just finished a patio for me and the finish is beautiful and he was clean and tidy throughout. You would definitely keep his number for future business.

A rare find! What luck finding Rob on this website to remove our wall and make good. My husband was drawn to him because he was the only builder who took his time to measure up and check everything before his quote. He is an absolute perfectionist and his attention to detail is fantastic. He was great at project managing and was able to take me step by step what he needed to do to get the work done, each day I knew what was happening. Day 1. Steel prep work and measuring up. Day 2. Props went in and wall removal began. Day 3. Wall is gone and electrical work sorted. Day 4. “Packing in” is done. Day 5. Wall is filled in ready for plaster board. He also removes an old porch door frame and makes good. So neat no plastering needed. Day 6. Plaster boards are in and walls ready for plastering, props come down and packing finished. Day 7. Floor is levelled to living room. Day 8/9. Plastering is done including my kitchen ceilings. Day 10 skirting is added and flooring laid. Great builder, great service, very lovely assistant builder ;) will be calling him back to do some other work.

Rob turned up on time and got straight on with the job without taking a break. He is socially pleasing and always willing to answer any questions you might have. Robs over all performance and job ability was certainly one of the best jobs I have encountered from Trades in a long time.

Amazing job Rob - not only was it done really quickly but it is immaculate and everything was cleared up afterwards. Looks brilliant and makes our garden much more useable. Exceeded our expectations!!!! Thank you. Will undoubtedly call on your services again in the future. 😁

Rob has done an excellent job in laying our new garden patio in the time-frame proposed. He came up with solutions to all problems encountered and brought his own ideas to improve the look of our patio design. We highly recommend him and we will use his services again in the future.

Rob was incredible from the moment he came to price up the job to the minute he left... Our Patio was done within the timescale he set out to the highest possible standard.
