Wayne is very helpful and friendly. Due to not enough air circulating under my living room floor, due to the air vents being partially blocked, joist under the flooring suffered dry and wet rot from a vent to close to a drain and taking in rain water. I had damp spores and damaged flooring. Wayne and his assistant got to work removing and replacing damaged wood, treating remaining wood and damp spores and putting in new air vents that were higher. The best bit was the insulation they put in, I didn’t realise this at the time, but Wayne had bought very thick top quality celotex and installed this within a day – very pleased!

The reason I reached out to W.A. Brown Builder is that it shows 100% positive comments on the website. When my project was finished this week, I would say it really deserves this rating. I also give my 100% satisfaction to W.A Brown and wish Mr Brown maintains this track record going forward. My project includes kitchen relocation, shower installation, storeroom partition and building a fitted bookcase. W.A. Brown Builder's pricing is competitive and response quick. Its team is professional and diligent, who always pays attention to details. Mr Brown was flexible to my new requirements during implementation, and willling to fix some minor issues at no extra charge. Another impressive thing is that his team alway cleared up every work space very carefully. Many thanks to Mr Brown for his great job, and I will definitely go back to him if I have other projects in the furniture.

Wayne did a great job

Wayne gave us a competitive quote and completed the job without any real hassle (we have a small flat we coped). Wayne also came to our rescue when part of our bath started leaking. Due to his nature and professionalism, we also hired Wayne to renovate our bathroom. He and his team did a wonderful job and fitted everything to our requirements, consulting us along the way. We are new to hiring tradesmen rather than getting it all done from a store, so we had to buy a few extra things along the way, but anything we weren't sure about, Wayne bought for us. We would definitely hire Wayne again for any work we needed doing and would highly recommend him and his team.

We had Wayne come out and give us a quote for the job described and straight away felt really confident in him. He was the first builder we'd met who could help us visualise what we wanted and helped us understand all the steps we needed to plan for through to completion. He has a great attention to detail and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and as a result does not cut any corners etc. The guys who came with Wayne to complete the work were the most hardworking builders we've come across. They were here 8 - 6pm every day and didn't accept a single offer of a cup of tea! They were sympathetic to the fact that while the work was being completed we were still needing to live here and always cleaned up and left the house as tidy as possible each day. Wayne was very patient with us as we did change our minds and add a few jobs as we went along. His communication with us was always fantastic, sending revised quotes/invoices as we went so we knew exactly where we were up to with no hidden surprises at the end. We are really happy with the finished work here and wouldn't hesitate to use Wayne again and recommend him to anyone needing a building company who really do it all.

Wayne fitted our new kitchen and bathroom, replaced an internal wall, fitted a new front door and decorated throughout. The work was carried out to a high standard for a fair price. Wayne is friendly and helpful and has a good team of skilled tradesman working with him.

I can highly recommend Wayne and his team for their recent work. Our job was the conversion of our home from two flats into one house and the job included: - removal of artex and re-plastering - removal of partition walls and re-building of new room corner and door rehang - building spindles and links etc on wooden staircase - fitting electrics: switches and pendants - fitting trims and replacing moldings to match those damaged by previous conversion to two flats In terms of price, I found their quote to be competitive - not the highest and not the cheapest but we chose them as we were impressed by Wayne's attention to detail when he came to look at and price the job. This approach continued throughout and ensured that we were very clear on costs and detail of each element of the job. Also impressive was the job timeline - the team started the day we agreed and finished a day early! (This is a first for any builders we've hired!) And in turn, when it came to the follow-up snags (of which there were just a couple and one was down to faulty product, not an error in build) Wayne was very quick to respond, getting back to us within 24 hours on a weekend too! I will definitely invite them to quote again.

I hired Wayne to carry out various works including redecoration of several rooms and refitting a bathroom suite. I found Wayne to be very professional toward me (he took time to listen to my requirements) and his staff, he was timely and most importantly work was to a good standard. I would recommend Wayne and use his firm again.

We're so pleased we hired Wayne. From the start, Wayne was very prompt, friendly, and expert, giving us an immediate quote which broke every part of the job down, making it easy and simple for us to work out what we wanted done. After agreeing, we needed to change the start date, and have the work done in a very short space of time. Wayne took great efforts to make sure this happened, and the job both started on time, and finished on time. During the work, we needed to change a few things about what was to be carried out. Wayne was very flexible, provided an immediate quote for the additional bits, and work carried on without interruption. The job was to be 3 days, and each day Wayne's workers arrived early, and made sure at the end of the day to clean up areas that we needed to live in. Wayne regularly checked in to make sure his team were working, and whenever we needed to call and speak with Wayne, got a prompt immediate response. We're very happy with the finished result, it was a real pleasure to work with Wayne, and highly recommend him and his team for building work that you need. We're already planning another job and will be using Wayne again. 11/10
