VLC came same the day and fixed a water pipe leak and a heating system leaking air vent. Very good service and nice guy. Would certainly use again.

Brilliant plumbing work with good reasonable charges, and most of all a reliant and friendly person. Always double checks the works once completed. Highly recommended, Lyes will definitely be doing all my future plumbing works.

Lyes gave me a rough estimate of the time involved from the photos I posted and felt that he did not need to come and see the job beforehand. We settled on a date and time. This should have been a simple job. Drain the system and repair a compression joint. The first part went OK. But the bottom nut of the elbow joint that had been leaking for years, was siezed solid and would not budge (even after heating). As the other elbow connected to the internal welded pipe of the store, we did not want break the pipe by putting too much force on it. But Lyes decided to gently try the top nut and it moved easily (as if it was not tight in the first place). From there, he was able to remove the copper pipe from the fitting and work on the siezed joint without damaging the pipe into the store. The only down side is that he did not have the fittings with him for my job as he could not see it was 28mm from the pictures. Luckily I had some spare 28mm Olives. He then added inhibitor and re-filled the system. When he left, a couple of radiators were still cold (even though he had bled them). But he did say they should come back when the system was run a bit more (but would come back if they did not). I increased the pressure in the system and sure enough they sprang into life. But he was a nice guy, worked tidily (wore plastic shoe covers, used a dust mat etc). He did not drag the job out. I think it was a fair price and I would have no problems recommending him.

Lyes, came and looked at the job just to quote but decided to start the job so as not to leave the tenant without hot water. He completely the job the following week once the parts arrived. He did a top job within what he quoted. Lyes is a lovely bloke with a professional attitude and great work ethic. Top bloke top job - he will work for me again.
