I hired Constantin and his team initially to carry out a house clearance. Then he informed me he could do the house refurbishment I also required including to garden.
I booked him to refurbish the whole flat two bedrooms, living room, bathroom including fitting new bathroom suite with full tiling, kitchen decoration plus fitting of oven, hob, extractor fan and part tiling plus decorating of the hallway and bedrooms. New wooden flooring was also laid throughout.
Constantin appeared pleasent enough and quoted for the job I sourced all the items and bathroom suite except the paint etc.
Within a few days of commencing the job the whole living room was painted which raised concerns as clearly they hadn't sanded down or plastered the walls neither had they sanded down the skirting boards. If I raised anything with him he would get upset. After the whole job was completed I noticed the faults, unplastered walls which were just painted over, damaged and poorly painted skirtings. I was charged over £6,000 for a job which was never rectified.
It is unfortunate as all his reviews are positive which made me book him. Clearly he has taken advantage of a female who he thinks doesn't understand the decorating process or indeed what to expect with a full refurbishment.
