Despite the stones needing more cleaning than expected and finding an ant colony under the steps, the team pressed on and did a really good job. The Hertstone team have done a fantastic job transforming the facade of my house complete with repairing a badly cracked bath stone cornice, filing and smoothing all sills and edges, painting masonry and re-pointing brickwork. Eddie responded to my enquiry and came to view the job the following day. Start delayed a few times, mainly due to weather but we were kept informed and given realistic time frames. Needed two visits and they were prompt both yes, worked to a good standard, even finding bits we'd missed (old doorbell holes). Work looks sound and price was reasonable. We originally hired them due to their swift response and good communication but price was good as well. Would use again.
