Hertstone enlarged our kitchen window, fitting a new bespoke stone header and cill and then fitted the new window. Very happy with the work. All brickwork neat and tidy and all blends in seamlessly. Prior to starting, they took the time to ensure that the new stone work would match the rest of the house. They also fitted us a new glazed aluminium door which again has been fitted to a high standard.

The re-pointing and stone repair work that Hertstone carried out was executed very well and looks really good. Access to the area in question was not easy but was successfully done via scaffolding. All in all I would recommend this company, they did a good job at a reasonable price.

Initial contact was very good and the price paid for the work was also good. However, the workman who did the work was very messy and we had a lot of cleaning up to do when he finished. I did not like the fact that when there would be no one on site we were not informed the day before even though I asked for this. We are retired and would have appreciated not having to get up early and then wait around for no one to come. This happened several times. There was insufficient supervision of the workman and no one inspected the work on completion or asked us if we were satisfied with the job. The workman who came was very nice and polite and all my dealings with Michael were pleasant. I was surprised not to be asked for any money up front and this is a factor in his favour. I may possibly use them again.

Good communication and the job was completed in 3 or 4 visits (properly). Resulting in a great finish which I am sure will endure. Thank you.

Arrived on time, explained the process in detail. Completed a sample section of the brickwork to demonstrate end result and then completed the job in good time. All in all a good experience and the brickwork really shows up well now. Would use and recommend again.
