They did a good job, they turned up when they said they would, they did a fab job, left a clean, polite and I would be happy to use them again.

Great company professional, very quick to get a detailed quote, got back to me same day listing what I'd ask to be done. Once I gave the the job to the company, the guys that came to complete the job kept me up to date with the progress showing me what they had done to make sure I was happy with the progress, they were extremely courteous and polite, and worked very hard to get work complete to an excellent standard, they left the place tidy and as if they hadn't been. Sam called and visited very quickly, inspection completed and quotation done while they were here (quotation in writing, listing the bits that needed doing). The two guy who completed the job were polite and courteous. Job completed quickly and they tided up after themselves. Sam then called in the evening to make sure I was happy and the guys had done everything quoted. I would recommend SS Roofing Services

Quick, efficient and tidy

The job was completed professionally and quickly and the site left clean and tidy. The job entailed the following: 1.Repointing all ridge tiles and replacing at least two. 2.Repointing two tile valleys. 3.Repointing the top of a lined flue. 4.Repointing tile edges where needed. 5.Replacing broken tile & inserting wire balloon in chimney keep birds out. 6. Gutters cleaned out. The cost was not cheap at £1400 with 2 workmen on site for 4 hrs on each of two days.

Prompt and efficient job

SS builders were all excellent with their workmanship. Prompt, friendly, explained the procedures in a patient manner. Would give them work again in the future. They also gave a 10 year guarantee for work done. Good competitive pricing. Very happy

Last year , we were having problems with some leaking velux windows. Sam from SS Roofing replied to the post, turned up and said he could sort it out. We thought the price was a bit expensive but were keen to get the roof/windows sorted out before the winter. 2 men spent about 2 hours on the roof, replaced a few broken tiles and cleared the moss from the roof. They said that that should sort the problem out and actually left us with a Five year guarantee and assured us they would return should the problem persist. Shortly afterwards we had a heavy downpour and the rain continued to seep through, leaving water marks on the ceiling which I had just repainted. We got in touch with Sam who promised to return but never did. We continued to phone him weekly for months, only to be told they were busy and would get back to us the following week. That never happened. The last time I spoke with him a few weeks ago, we once again promised to phone me with a time but again, that never happened. He now does not even answer the phone when I ring. My husband and I are very dissatisfied with the service we have received as we paid good money to the company with the promise that they would sort out the problem. I would quite definitely not recommend this company to anyone. In our opinion, they have just taken our money and shown no interest in doing a good job, leaving satisfied customers. The 5 year guarantee is just a joke.

Very prompt response from this firm and although a small job they fitted it in very quickly. A professional and good quality job, no fuss and no mess. Highly recommended.
