We can highly recommend this company, Sam arrived on time, we were given a quote and were kept informed throughout the work on site about any issues there were with the roof. Would definitely use them again. Polite, professional and very efficient. Many thanks for a great job. We are now water tight.

I had problems in finding someone locally to do the job. Very prompt response from SS Roofing to the posting on "My Builder". Job surveyed and estimate provided within 2 days. Able to start work start work a few days later. Arrived on time. Friendly, polite. Professional approach to the task, finished sooner than expected. Minor problems with finish to plastic cladding were resolved immediately. Area left clean & tidy. Highly recommended.

Sam came out very quickly, did a quick survey and then carried out the work a few days later at the agreed price, the job was done well and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

The gutters were leaking on our small industrial unit earlier this year so we got quotes to clean and seal them as well as replacing some discoloured roof lights and replacing a couple of water damaged internal insulation panels. Sam responded to my ad. and after coming to look at the work he quoted me a price. He seemed to have had some good reviews on this site and he promised me a 5 year guarantee on his work so I decided to give him the job. When I inspected the work the day after he finished, I was not happy because the specification for the roof lights shown on each sheet stipulated a minimum number of fixings for the roof lights to stop them from being lifted by strong winds. Sam had put in far fewer than the stipulated minimum and he had also done a shoddy job of repairing rather than replacing the damaged internal panels. When I asked him to return to put it right he was very resistant to doing so and told me that I was "messing him about". Luckily I had not yet paid him so he had no choice but to return. When He had done so I paid him right away. In May when we had the heavy rain, the gutters front and back were leaking again as were the roof lights which had never leaked before. When I contacted Sam about it he initially said he would return to sort it out, but he never did. I wrote again to ask him but my requests were then ignored. Sam appears not to be a man of his word so I regrettably cannot recommend him or his company to anybody.
