    Fitting trellis to wall
    SJ landscapes did a reasonable job fitting some trellis for me but, like most builders after taking the money, will not come back to remedy minor problems despite promises to do so. If you use him remember this

    Answer from tradesperson:

    When we done the job John was happy with it . He seems to forget that we took all the ivy down for him . Adjusted the hight of the trellis numerous times for him so it looked right as wall was on slope. As far as not getting in touch with him I did as I told him I would come over to Liverpool as soon as I could as I was working in Wales at the time . With he agreed on he also told me not to make a special journey as he only wanted a couple of screws putting in . This was extra at no extra cost.??????. Steve

    Replace exisiting fence with new 2.5m timbers.

    Excellent job. Arrived on schedule for the initial quote and for the work to commence. Steve was very helpful and work was completed with no fuss. Will certainly work with again.

    Garden Fence re-positioning
    Steve was prompt to contact me and supply a quote, arrived on time on the day to start the work and did a great job finishing on time and with good standards of work would recommend - thanks Steve

    Fence and patio replacement
    He did a job for me which was a patio. It was awful and I had to go to the court for a judgement against him. He ignored the judgement and therefore I have lost £2500. I would recommend him to no-one as his work is very poor. Trading standards inspected the work and were very scathing about the work. The person who came to rectify it said it was the worst job he had seen. Do not employ this man

    Answer from tradesperson:

    We done exactly what was asked of us and it was 3 to 4 months after the job was completed that this client complaint. What he fails to mention is that Trading Standards said he didn't have a case against me . As far as I am concerned he was just trying it on to get his money back and have the work done for nothing . He also forgot to mention that after the court hearing which I never got a date for he sent me a letter saying if I gave him £2000 cash he would forget the whole thing.This is a bit strange but he ho .     Indian stone installation
    Steve gave us a quote ex\ct to the pound with a full breakdown of materials and work. We were more than happy with it and accepted him for the work. Always turned up when he said he would and he and Sean were a pleasure to have doing the work, any small changes we wanted were done with no fuss. All the work was done to a high standard and we love the finished result. Would recommend to anyone.

    Move fencing & small decking

    Steve came when he said he would, took detailed notes and gave a prompt quote. The materials he used were good quality. He & his partner worked continuously on the job until it was finished and the workmanship was thorough and tidy. I would definitely use this business again and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

    Small garden/yard
    Steve did an amazing job with our garden transforming it from a concrete wilderness to a space we all love to spend time in. It wasn't an easy job- thanks!!

    To lay a concrete base build shed

    Stephen provided a really good service, communicating effectively we were confident Stephen would arrive promptly, which he did. The work was carried out in a professional manner, very tidy and efficient. The men were friendly and trustworthy the price quoted was the price that we paid for the completed job. I would recommend this builder on my experiences.
