    New Decking and socialising area
    Steve was fantastic throughout. From first coming to quote the job right the way to completion. Extremely helpful providing advice on what would be best with the space we had and being proactive in adapting our ideas as he went to allow It look the best for us on completion. Perfectly on time every day. Work completed to a high standard. I would recommend him to anybody, I would not hesitate to have him back for future works.

    6 foot fence at veterinary surgery
    Excellent job, done on time and to price. The two of them really cracked on with the fence construction, and it was all done to an excellent standard. Am very pleased with what they’ve done and how it’s turned out. Recommended 👍👍

    Relay a garden patio
    Excellent job done, happy with every aspect of Steve’s work. Came when he said he was coming, on time, professional, polite and hard working. Would definitely recommend him.

    Erect fence across the garden
    came on the day we arranged first thing in the morning 8am steve and I believe Robbie cracked on with the job stayed till it was completed and assured me any problems which I don't envisage give them a call and they will sort it out the fence is perfect for what I wanted thank you

    New patio, new fence and tree trimming
    Steve worked on my garden for the last week. Did exactly what was discussed and is even coming back for further works I have requested. 100% recommended and very professional from start to finish.

    Fencing and new garden gate
    Absolutely made up with the fence and garden gate that S J landscapes created. Very professional, quick and tidy workmen. Already asked for a quote for more work. Highly recommended

    Garden makeover/landscape
    I hired Steve and his team to transform my garden and that is exactly what they did, from his 1st contact right through to the job being completed Steve kept to every appointment, arrived on time and worked with me to achieve what I wanted the finished results to be like. I really am so pleased with their hard work and I definitely would recommend SJ Landscapes for any garden work you have, friendly and reliable and I’m sure I will have them back in the near future to complete any other work I may have, definitely chose the right person for the job, thanks a million!!

    Back Fence
    Great job from start to finish. Stephen came around the same day and measured up and explained what fences he could do and also showed me pictures. After a couple of hours a quote was given and I was happy to continue. Stephen and his crew turned up to build me a fence even though it was -2°c and there was Ice everywhere. During the process Stephen told me of any issues and explained what he needed to do and wouldn't continue unless I was happy to do so. The fence is now finished and I am happy with the result and price. Stephen is a local builder who I would be happy to call on again next time I need a fence building. A*****

    Large scale patio & landscape garden project
    Everything started well with Steve and his son Sean (Woodland Joinery) went through the project in very fine detail and was given a price for the job. Like a fool I agreed to pay them on a weekly basis and it became obvious that they had under priced the job as the monies had been paid in full and there was lots of work left to do. Sean walked off the job and refused to complete the works as agreed at the outset unless he was paid on a "day rate". Steve continued to work on the job but it became obvious that he was completely out of his depth and laid the very expensive vitrified paving abysmally, they have had to be lifted and relaid, some of them had already become loose. He also built an outside bar that is not square to the rest of the garden and therefore the paving runs out of square around this building. They started the job in early part of this year promising to have it finished for my daughters 18th birthday party in June and I am still fixing the cowboy works done by them. Very very bad tradesman DO NOT USE Have a look at his Facebook page to see the job, but don't be fooled as the detail isn't shown and the many many mistake and covers ups made to hide them!!

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Isnt it funny how it is always the trades that are at fault. Just to make a few things clear . It was the clients idea to pay us weekly. The job changed on a daily basis. Materials where never on time (client organized this). The reason sean left job was because they had built the decking with a 5mm gap he wantef10mm gap and told sean to take up and redo it. Sean and Tom said they would take it up for no charge but would have to be paid to re lay it. Client refused and said it was there fault????. Half way through job client decided he wanted fire pit to be bigger. It was meant to be 2mx3m he now wanted it 5mx4m and 2m deep which we did but the flags he bought didnt key in with this because the rill had already been fitted. He also decided to have a wall/ step built across garden to raise the lawn. Not in plans. As far as the flagging being abysmall he never once complained in fact because he had ordered to many flags he asked us to qoute to do his front garden and drive???. We never promised to have it done for his daughter 18th because we never new abou it till half way through job 3/4 of way through job i had 10 days of ( family holiday already booked before we started) on reterning he had had someone else in doing are work. As far as being cowboys i take this very personally as we have built 5 show gardens for Outer Spaces which all got awards . To sum it up we done everthing we could and more but client was never happy.
