I have given this neutral feedback as the issue was really outside of Ron's control. Materials, advice, communication, price from Ron's firm was first rate. However, the fitting experience was very different -- which started when our oak bed was damaged during the process. The fitter clearly thought I had made this up, given I was subjected to a very unpleasant call later that day - very unpleasant indeed. To his credit, Ron sorted out a satisfactory repair to the bed at his expense, but the whole experienced was hugely tainted by the fitter. It would also have been useful if the fitter had repaired a creaking floor board before laying the floor (as it still creaks when we step on the floor). Would I use Ron's firm again, yes -- now I have calmed down from the experience, but only as long as he used a different fitting team.
