    Extension, electricals & bathroom remodel
We chose Pyramids to renovate our victorian cottage. From the start, Paul was in tune the finish we wanted to achieve, and when the inevitable issues cropped up, he was upfront and clear about our options. Paul also managed the relationships with our neighbours very well. The crew worked tirelessly to complete our renovations in time for our baby's arrival, and we're very happy with the results!

    Wall Rendering
Very pleased I chose Pyramids to do the job. Paul was very helpful from the start. His team worked really hard, paid attention to detail and were very proud of their work. The team were considerate and clean, making sure the site was tidy at the end of each day. SInce this initial job I have asked Pyramids to do some more jobs for me as I was so pleased with their work.

2 Bedroom Victorian Flat refurbishment in SW London
We hired Paul and his team to refurbish our 2 bedroom Victorian apartment at the beginning of 2016. The work consisted of taking down a chimney breast, removing a wall, new floors, new kitchen, new bathroom and redecorating throughout. The project did take longer than we initially discussed with Paul, but this was due to structural issues in the house that needed correcting. This caused us to go over budget as well, but Paul was very open and honest about costs and consulted us on everything. Paul is a nice guy and easy to get along with, so I would use Pyramids again.

    External repairs and redecoration

We are a self managed 6 story block of 17 flats in SW15. We went to tender through My Builder and others for general external repairs and decoration. Pyramid's quote came in about mid range and we were impressed with Paul's enthusiasm and commitment. We appointed them and are very happy with the way things went: on time,on budget and adaptive to changes in the specification. The building looks great and feels hugely more comfortable to live in. If you want to know more do ask Paul to give you my contact details and I will be happy to talk to you.

    Damp wall under window

I was very happy with the service provided by Paul and his team. They turned up on time and carried out the job in a professional manner. The damp under the window has gone and I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future for further work.

£10,000 budget to find leak under kitchen units

Absolute cowboys. Stay well away. They asked for a 35% deposit upfront then treated my job as "hospital job". They told me it needed 4 -5 weeks but refused to give a schedule of works. Further, they were to find a leak in my kitchen and give me proof of what caused the leak. Using someone who was not a qualified plumber they came back with the very dodgy opinion that it was my dishwasher. Then they refused to give a document specifying the cause of the leak which made it difficult to process with my insurance company. Since then I have found a reputable qualified plumber who identified the source of the leak (nothing to do with the dishwasher) and who gave evidence of this. On the first day supposedly they were just installing scaffolding but no, they then proceeded to rip out the kitchen also. Not great for my dinner party that evening. At no point did Mr. Mikhail conduct a full site meeting where we could discuss exactly what work needed doing: e.g the colour of paint, silicone, what to paint etc. He went ahead as if I, the client, didn't exist. What he was good at was calling me up several times a day to ask me questions that would have been answered in one decent site meeting. When I pressed him for a timescale and evidence of the leak we walked off the job keeping all of my deposit. Really? Over £5000 to scaffold for a week, paint a couple of coats of weathershield and render a small chimney stack, patch a hole in the living room plaster? Outrageous.

    Answer from tradesperson:

We endeavour to leave our customers completely satisfied. Mr Brown needed a quotation for his insurance claim and inflated the cost so he could cover additional works. The insurance company contacted me and I was honest with them. Mr Brown then refused to answer my calls. It was impossible for me to continue his project. I completed the works that I had started but Mr Brown refused to pay my final invoice - nearly £5000. Unfortunately Mr Brown’s claims that I did not carry out site meetings, did not use a qualified plumber and I did not give him a schedule of works are also lies. Potential clients are encouraged to visit our current and completed projects and to personally check our references.

100% percent I would recommend Paul and his team to anyone. We have a bakery/shop and had what was nothing more than an aggravating project that needed to be done: replacing a lower ground floor slab that was in the middle of two kitchens. Paul was more than fair in pricing, extremely attentive and his team kept us operational the entire time without a hitch. Professional, courteous, reliable. Look no further.

Repointing and tidying render - front of terraced house

Paul's guys did a very good job re-rendering the front of our house. They always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day.
