He has done a very good job. He was reliable and got on with the job- completing it on time. The quote was competitive. We have gone on to hire him for two subsequent jobs- re-pointing, and replacing two other lintels, and painting wood work. Excellent work! I was very happy with the work that Aldo did repairing the arch over my second floor kitchen window. The work was completed on time and on budget. At the end of each day Aldo left the area clean and tidy. He was good at communicating what work would be done and when he would be arriving and leaving. Re-pointing to cellar wall is good but stone work restoration on bay window shows fine cracks and will have to be redone, work was over budget and over time by 50%.Answer from tradesperson:
Client is talking about work half-way done. I wasn’t allowed to finish it. As different works are added to initial quote, the price as to change to cover costs. It was agreed between both parties that after work at back of house was completed I would finish the front stonework. With the final layer of lime wash applied the cracks would disappear.
