I was delighted-as the younger craftsman was the carpenter and his father was a builder-this meant I did not have to find someone else to do the other work I needed done- one and a half days work turned into more but everything i wanted done was done and nothing was too much trouble I have asked them to do work in my own residence as a result and am prepared to wait for this as I feel I can trust them both to do exactly what I want.

We found PJ Hogan (“Peech Building”) on this website. We liked the feedback already here and met onsite at the proposed job, a 60s bungalow renovation/alteration/refurb. We knew it would be difficult to find someone experienced and qualified to deal with all aspects of our proposed works and also confident enough to be creative with it. We had limited funds but wanted to be able to take advantage of creative opportunities, if they arose, during the works. We achieved all of this with PJ Hogan and his son Harry, now also fully qualified. The works took about 4 months. We developed a pleasant, creative relationship which made the job fun and we are very satisfied with the outcomes, many of which PJ suggested along the way and which we were delighted to be able to support. All the work has been done to a high standard and the house is now comfortable to live in. PJ and his son Harry have a strong, productive working relationship. Their combined skills are a powerful force for interpretation and implementation of all kinds of building challenges. PJ is also known and respected by other members of the building trade we met during the works. We have no hesitation in recommending him extremely highly.

Always happy & bright even at 8.15 in the morning. Clean & tidy father & son team. Honored the price quoted with no extras that sometimes are added on. Building Inspector complemented them on the job they did of installing the RSJ. Would be happy to recommend them to other prospective clients.

The guys did a very fast and efficient job for a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire them for any other jobs I need.

We knew nothing about Peech and his son, Harry, so we went by our instincts that everything would be o.k. Peech was confident and knowledgeable about replacing our kitchen, and we are delighted with our new kitchen. It is finished to a very high standard, and Peech helped us to keep within a sensible budget. They were always punctual, reliable and more than helpful.. Peech is quite a character, and they were both a pleasure to have around. We highly recommend Peech Building Services, and would readily employ them again.

I definitely feel that this builder should change his name to Peech & Son. Poor Harry gets an ear bashing every day from larger than life PJ Hogan, aka Peech, Peechy and P.J. Peech Builders completed an office extension for my house over a 5 week period. They were always cheerful, friendly and polite, as well as organised and efficient. Both Peech and Harry put up with my daily inspections and managed to come up with suitable replies to all my suggestions (whether positive or negative!!...). Everyone working for Peech was respectful of our privacy and careful about causing too much noise. Disruptions to my business and home life were kept to a minimum. Peechy worked to an agreed fixed rate but this did not mean that shortcuts in workmanship or quality of material ensued. His work is excellent and I would have no qualms in asking Peech to do work for us again in the future. I fully recommend Peech Building Services for any building work, large or small.
