I hired this company to refit the kitchen in a rental property and I was so impressed I asked them to refit the bathroom as well which had ongoing difficulties. Alan was fantastic. He suffered me well. I'm very nervous due to previous poor workmanship from other companies. Apart from the excellent workmanship, everyone involved had a very approachable attitude which made for easier communication. I'm delighted with the work completed and would thoroughly recommend this company to everyone. Thank you very much!

I chose several companies to provide quotes and chose Paterson Home Improvements as the conversation and meetings were so honest and up front. There was no sales pitch driven by profit but an honest discussion about what was right for our house. Would strongly recommend.

We are very pleased with our new windows. All done quickly and at a great price. Everything went according to plan. It was well organised by Allan and his team who were great workmen. They measured up accurately, and did the job quickly within a few hours one day. We were kept informed throughout and the job was completed very competently, efficiently and cleanly. Because we are so impressed with Allan and his team we have asked them to estimate and subsequently carry out another more extensive project of enlarging a rear utility room window and replacing this. They have been easy to work with, communication has been good throughout and we would definitely recommend Allan and his team.

When my initial quote with Alan was unachievable, I reached out to see if negotiation was doable. Alan was very understanding and caring in regards to the personal circumstances involved and went over and above what was required in order to provide me with a conservatory, that not only looks beautiful but was within our price range. I found him very easy to talk to and an honest and trustworthy person, something that is essential when having work carried out on your home. The work commenced within the estimated time frame and was carried out much quicker than anticipated. The guys worked very hard and apart from the unavoidable noise from power tools, I wouldn't have known they were there. Arrangments were made for a skip and an electrician, which avoided any confusion or hold ups. Davy was always courteous, polite and well mannered, both with myself and the other guys. Making sure to clean up thoroughly every day before leaving and always made sure to closed doors, gates etc. as I have pets. The finish of the conservatory was done so with care and to a very high standard, once again, Davy did little bits here and there, to ensure I had a neat finish, including plastering the existing wall from where the old conservatory was removed, this wasn't necessary, but appreciated. I couldn't be happier with the conservatory. I highly recommend Alan and his team. I know when I am looking for more work to be carried out, he will be the first person I call.

Alan Paterson responded very promptly to the window problem we posted on My Builder. Thank goodness he did, as we could not have wished or hoped for a more consummate professional. The detailed quotation and overall cost of the work was fair, his workmen first class and Alan Paterson kept in close contact to ensure we were happy and satisfied with the outcome – we sure were and therefore, we cannot praise the company highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending Paterson Home Improvements. We subsequently contacted Alan Paterson to quote for the removal of a very old & antiquated fireplace; again his quote was more than fair and Alan Paterson's workers were first class. They covered the room with both plastic & cloth dust sheets, carried out the work very quickly and efficiently, clearing all rubble & dust and to our satisfaction, left the room in immaculate condition. Can't recommend Paterson Home Improvements highly enough. Excellent team work from start to finish and delighted with final product. They quickly resolve any issues and because he runs such a great team, was easy to have them working around your home. Have since spoken to a couple of other people in our area who used this company and all have great things to say about them.

Fantastic service. From first visit to discuss right through to completion, they were brilliant. Will be going back to them for future building work when I need it.
