Scott and colleagues did a thorough and difficult job of providing damp proofing services for 3 walls in my Victorian house. A very dedicated team of experts they did a full survey of the areas to be treated. It did not look like an easy job. I highly recommend this company.Review from maddy1234, Lewisham, London maddy1234, Lewisham, London

We had this job done to the front of our property in November last year, the work was completed to a very high standard, polite and professional service received, and best of all the problem has been solved. We can definitely recommend this Trader and in fact we have hired him for further work. A big Thank you to Scott and the Team.Review from littlecoldkiwi, Rochester littlecoldkiwi, Rochester

I hired Scott to build two bathrooms, fit a kitchen, redecorate and damp proof a room. I was left without heating, running water, a method of cooking or a bathroom for over 6 months forcing me to sleep in my car or at friends houses. He would not walk away from the job and I knew if I fired him I would be in breach of contract for which he could take me to court and I was stuck. Occasionally he would get people in to do odd bits here and there, the plasterer he employed lost the key to my house, when I asked for it back I was told that he must be back in prison. He blamed the roof for the reason he could not do work but the roofer came within 4 days to put the issue right. The neighbours witnessed his subcontractors filling the garden with waste from their own vans, it took 3 large skips to remove and there were bags of human waste. He did not pay the subcontractors, they then threatened me with legal action but of course I had no contract with them, I feel sorry for them as they weren’t paid. Scott was paid for work he did not do. It cost me a lot of money to put the work right that some of his contractors didn’t do correctly and even more money to finish the job after he eventually said he wasn’t doing any more work. The stress was unbelievable and afterwards I tried to ask him how he could do that to a single female to which I received abuse. It has taken me months to write this as I am scared that he knew where I lived. Now I have moved and feel safer.Answer from tradesperson:
I’m not going to rant just to say the lady in question owes my company over £2000 But the main issues I need to address are: The lady was not single she had a boyfriend who supposedly was funding the job,and there was a guy living at the house whilst the work was going on. So the scared single female act is a complete lie. The main issue for me is the abuse part, in all my dealings with clients over the years not once have I ever raised my voice to a client whether they were right or wrong let alone abuse somebody. As a company we couldn’t do anymore for this lady but nothing was ever going to be good enough for her. As a builder if you see the name Sarah Elliot stay clear you will have nothing but trouble with this lady.

I called Scott about some damp/rotten timber I had in my living room floor. Scott and his team were professional, friendly and completed the works in a timely manner. I am more than impressed with the standard of work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has similar problem. Thanks Scott and the team.
