    Damp in house in Meols

Nigel from NTB Construction completed a full damp proof course on our property across 3 days. It was completed to a very high standard. Nigel was so professional from start to finish and extremely flexible. I had to change the date with Nigel a few times, and he couldn't have been more understanding & accomodating. Can't recommend Nigel enough - punctual, knowledgeable & went above & beyond. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Damp dining room

UPDATE - damp has come back on a few of the walls and as it’s under Nigel’s guarantee I contacted him to get it sorted and he booked us in for April 24th then didn’t show. He has since ignored my calls and messages. Brilliant work by Nigel, Phil and Dale they were very professional and did an amazing job in our dining room and hallway. Everything was cleaned up after, wonderful service. Highly recommend them and would happily employ their services again. Good value for money

    Answer from tradesperson:

I have contacted the customer on a couple of occasions to arrange a date to go out and take a look at the damp issues, it originally happened because they painted before it had all dried but I said I would go back but I've not heard back

    Damp patches need investigating

Nigel and the guys did a really good job and cleaned up after themselves which was appreciated. Hoping that we don't need to use them again but would use again!

Hallway flooring needs to be straight/level

Guys came in, replaced the wooden beams under floorboards and replaced the floorboards in the hallway. Job was done in one day and I was impressed with the work that was carried out.

Damp patch on living room wall

    (Updated on 30 Sep 2025)

    Answer from tradesperson:

We did carry out the work on a small wall next to the kitchen, the job was completed to a high standard, several months later I received a call from the customer saying the wall was wet again, one of my lads went to visit and the customer said they had had a leak in the bathroom directly above, so the second time the wall was wet was not to do with the work we had carried out but was the result of the leak above, the customer demanded that we go back and put it right, I refused as it wasn't my responsibility......

    Damp/cold terraced

Very happy with the work done by Nigel, Phil and Dale. Nigel responded quickly to my post and got in touch to come out and quote the job. He was here on time and happily replied to all my questions. Very pleasant guys to have round and left the house very clean. I’ve also received the guarantee and invoice very quickly after they completed the job. I would highly recommend them! Thank you very much
