Mike was great. Really helpful and professional.

Great communication and always turned up bang on time. Job was completed on the day, and everything was up and running as promised. However, there was some damage caused during the installation - vinyl floor was left with a rip in it (which I have been able to repair), and a scorch mark. Also some scorch marks left on the walls where pipework had to be joined. All in all, good value for money, and luckily because I am in the process of completely redecorating and replacing the kitchen I am not overly upset by the minor damages - however, that would not have been acceptable if I had already completed my kitchen prior to the installation.

Good job well done. Would use MLA again.

UNSATISFIED WITH QUALITY OF JOB. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE I hired Michael and Rob to remove a gas fire, cap off the gas line and fill and plaster the void. Pictures of this job are shown in Michaels profile. Unfortunately due to not applying enough PVA adhesive to the wall on a hot day. The plaster end finish was crazed like a shattered eggshell when dried. (No function for customers to upload pictures) I contacted Michael ref this and the reply I received was to sand the wall down. So the plasterer was not willing to show professional pride and rectify the issue, but was happy to leave it to the customer to deal with now the cash was in hand. I had a local plasterer assess the job who said that the plaster had crazed as not enough PVA was applied to the wall to stop it drying out and it needed re-skimming. After 6 days of trying to contact Rob the plasterer agreed to come back and re-skim the wall. Well thats all very well in principle but I'm sat here writing this review 2 hours after our appointment, as they haven't bothered showing up as promised and have failed to contact me providing an explanation and reply to messages. I think it's safe to say that once the cash is in hand that these tradesman are content to leave a customer in the lurch, and don't have the professional pride to rectify there own sub standard work! A shame really as they seemed pretty genuine guys, but the end product and my experience speaks for itself.
