    Replace Broken Light Fitting

Brlliiant! Turned up on time. Very helpful. The job tookabout 30 minutes, which I thought was good value for money as I would not have touched electrics myself. Recommended and will certainly use again. Thanks Mike.

    Water heater repair

Mike was excellent! A simple job turned into a nightmare but he dealt with it even though he had to come back the next day. And he did an extra, unrelated job for me. Definitely recommend him and would use him again!

    Fencing front garden

This is the first time that I have used this web site to hire someone for work. I was not 100% convinced that the feedback was genuine but I gave it a go. I was very pleasantly surprised, because Mike did a very good job. Very reliable, on time, tidy, good ideas, flexible. We added a few bits and pieces to the job and he just got on with it. I will certainly contact him for any work in the future again.

Remove old shed - level ground for new shed

Competitive price and finished job to a good standard. Built a tall and level concrete base for my new shed. Tidied up afterwards. Friendly chap. Would hire again.

    Replace/fix garage roof

Michael was punctual from the start and very pleasant and trustworthy which i believe counts for a lot. He completed the jobs i had for him promptly and well. He was also very obliging when i asked him to help with an emergency job that came up at my mum's. He drove over there with me and sorted the task out without any fuss. I'd have him back for further work when needed.

refit and point column beicks to garage

Mike has been completing a list of snagging jobs, plus a few additional new jobs, which have included brickwork, electrical work, painting and carpentry. The home owner is satisfied Mike has done a good job and he has been asked back to complete more work.

    Projector, lights, switches and sockets

I would not use Michael again. He gave a good price for the job, but the quality of finish was very poor. Making good of plaster work was rough, TV cable left snaking its way ramdomly across my loft rather than being neatly installed. Michael marked a newly laid carpet in the front bedroom and did not clear up or make any attempt to keep our house clean. Was asked not to wear his working shoes upstairs as the carpeting was new - but paid no attention to this. Installation of the electricity distribution box was not labelled as should be, no test certificate was given to me. According to a qualified electrician the way the various circuits to my house were connected - this was not done to the latest standards!

    Answer from tradesperson:

firstly i filled the chased out walls i was not there to do the finishing on the walls and did not quote this in my price .i did mark the carpet by mistake and offered to clean it with suitable cleaning product but he decidid to go to the local shop and tried doing it himself .the t.v. cable was supplied by him and was a pre determined lengh that was not suitable..the c.u complies with the latest regs and he did not ask 4 a certificate ,the rest of the house has sub standard electrics that does not complie ,i think the man has got a screw loose
