Turned up at agreed time. Did the jobs needed, Very helpful and pleased with what he did.

Mike Harris is not registered with a competent person electrical scheme, but filled out the electrical certificates and I paid him on that basis. It later transpired that these are invalid, and I've now asked him to send someone that is registered with a competent person scheme and can provide a valid certificate. Mike also failed to tell me that the building inspector told him that the glass in the double glazed unit had to be toughened glass, and in fact told me that the inspector had said the window was fine. Mike also boxed in my electric and gas meters as part of a garage conversion, the door was held on my magnetic catches and was impossibly heavy for one person to lift, when I tried to open the cupboard for the first time the door fell off completely, hit my leg and cracked the newly laid wooden floor. I now have a huge bruise. Mike laid a wooden top click floor which has been left with large gaps and chips of wood missing where it has been badly fitted - it was not a cheap floor. The window sill is very badly constructed with one section of the window sill higher than the other, and a large gap in the middle.

mike turned up on time to fit catflap through brickwork. he did a very good job, and cleaned up when finished. he was very professional and knows his job, i would definately recommend him and use him again.

Mike finished the jobs I asked plus a couple extra. Very helpful, quick and tidy. Will be having him back again to tile the bathroom. Turned up when he said he would and finished before he left, not common these days! :o)

I am very pleased with Mike's job, excellent quality and has done it quite fast and clean. He has done all my lights and electric work, wall papers, shelf building, painting, so he has many skills. He is also very friendly and cleans the place after the job is finished. Overall very happy, would use him again and recommended highly.
