    To lay a herringbone laminate floor

    Michael did a great job on my floor. He was very helpful and accommodating and worked for a very good price. He is a highly skilled tradesman, and completed in three days and was punctual. A herringbone floor is more of a complex floor to lay and he has done an absolutely fantastic job. He sorted all my skirting, removed my kitchen benches to work underneath and left a clean finish. Will highly recommend his services.

    Relay laminate flooring as had wall removed
    Mike definitely gets my recommendation. I returned home from work to find my floor had been finished and what a fantastic job Mike had made. Mike quoted me a price and stuck to it, he arrived when he said he would and he got on with the job. Highly recommended from us. Thank you.

    Installing Laminated Flooring in Lounge
    Good communication with Mike before job commenced with regard to advice on materials needed. Nothing was a bother to him he even picked up some trim for me before the job commenced. Mike arrived promptly and worked quickly leaving me with a beautiful floor which I love. Thanks Mike for a job well done, the finished result is first class.

    Solid Wood Floor Fitting

    Had a solid wood floor "fitted" within a week the toilet floor had lifted, he came back attacked the skirting board with what looked like a dremmel and filled the gap with silicone! Not what I wanted. Hallway then lifted, he came back, exactly the same to fix it! Kitchen floor has now lifted 16 boards are up to a point! Text him 3 times asking him to come and lift the whole floor and do the job correctly! No response! I wanted the skirting boards taking off in the first place! I did not want beading!!!! Not a lot to ask for when paying for the work to be done!!! I am taking this to trading standards, not only has he cost me the money for paying him, I am going to need another pack of wood. I can't lift it until trading standards have been! Please use a joiner!! Completely ignoring people you have taken hard earned cash from is just wrong! I am a single parent! Trading standards will be in contact or I will see you in a small court of law!

    Answer from tradesperson:

    firstly when i went to this job she never mentioned skirting boards coming of, all she said was no beading and no silicon and could i leave as little a gap as possible. i informed her of the possibility of swelling. then i get a tex saying door bars couldn't be fitted, catching the doors. i went to see and she had family member there and explained the new doors would have to be trimmed which they weren't wiling to do, they tried to say it was my fault but it wasn't and i left after threatening behaviour from her brother. i went at a later date as i told her the floor lifted in the toilet i trimmed around the toilet and sink, then i did the hallway as she says. all because she wanted no beading or edging. and little gap.

    Laminate floor fitting
    Mike was fantastic! He laid laminate all the way through my flat and it looks brilliant. He gave great advise in regards to the trims for the doors and the top step and it looks super. He was incredibly efficient and I would have him back again for any other jobs that come up in the future without a doubt. Thanks Mike!!

    Lay engineered wood flooring in two rooms
    Excellent. Arrived and worked until job complete. Made it look easy. Layed two wooden floors in a day. Would use again.
